DJ PARTY with MARCUS iLL & DVD

https://www.facebook.com/events/149221705696380/

It is my pleasure to announce that I’ll be playing at Meta House in Phnom Penh this coming Friday, November 10, 2017.

Meta House is an awesome place, cool and artsy where they screen documentaries on a daily basis (closed on Mondays). On Thursdays, Fridays & Saturdays, after 9PM, they invite DJs to play Underground Music. You can hear anything from House, Techno, Trance, Drum&Bass and even once a month a Sixties Rock set.

This coming Friday I’ll be playing a set of Progressive House & Techno. I’ll mostly play the latest promos I got that are not released yet. New tracks by John Reid ‘UK’ & Sanctum Underground and by labels like Open House Records & Invaded just to name a few.

So if you’re in Phnom Penh come and check it out!

This is the Facebook Event if you’re curious.

Keep it Underground 😎

Nightlife In Jakarta: I Miss You

If you ever experienced the nightlife in Jakarta, you know how crazy it can get. For those fortunate enough to be in Jakarta next week, one of the most sought after upcoming DJ events, State Of Play’s 6th Anniversary, will be held Friday December 18th at Exodus nightclub in Kuningan City. This year’s theme: MAGNIFICENT 6

State Of Play 6th Anniversary MAGNIFICENT 6 Nightlife in Jakarta Upcoming DJ Events

And, as the tradition goes, it is in conjunction with DJ Deny’s birthday bash. This year promises to be another success with a killer line-up of SOP DJs and international special guests. Two floors will cater this explosion of sounds: 5th floor with an EDM oriented delivery featuring Justin Prime and 6th floor will present a closer take on the roots of State Of Play, with Darin Epsilon and Cid Inc as the headliners.

For the past six years, SOP has been active in many aspects of the Indonesian dance scene. Still considered a new player in the industry, SOP is quickly adapting to its challenging landscape. And 2015 has proven to be a busy year with many changes: from it’s founder’s, DJ Deny, retirement to the departures of Dimitri and Adhe and the amazing addition of six new members to it’s roster (Dimaz Andrean, Angga, Claudia Jaramillo, Tracy Tania, Adyt and MC Jovie), State Of Play always promises to deliver quality electronic music.

Unfortunately, for the first time in three years I won’t be able to make it. I will miss this event very much. And that is why I decided to write this short article. I thought, if I cannot be there, I will reminisce on the past State Of Play’s Anniversaries that I attended and try to give you insights about next week’s party. This way I hope to get a conversation going and  read tons of posts afterwards to get a good feel of how this year’s event went on. Okay, maybe I’m a little too emotional about it, but you get my drift. So if you been to one of the previous SOP Anniversaries and wanna share some thoughts, please comment on this post and let this chat begin…

ps: please share this Post and don’t forget to join the event on Facebook.
